Copy and paste
Decide whether text from a work app can be pasted somewhere else, such as a personal email or a personal AI chat.
Managed Enterprise Browser
Obsidian Ridge includes the Island Enterprise Browser in Ridge Plus and Ridge Reserve. Your work apps open in it, and its rules decide what can be copied, pasted, downloaded, uploaded, printed or captured on screen. We set it up and run it for you. It has no separate price.
What it is
The Island Enterprise Browser is a Chromium-based browser, built on the same engine as Chrome and Edge. Your team opens the apps they already use in it: email, practice management, matter management, tax software, client portals. For each app, the browser follows the rules you set for moving data out of it.
It runs on company computers and on personal ones. A contractor on a home laptop opens your client portal inside the same rules as everyone else, with nothing to install on the rest of their machine beyond the browser itself.
What it controls
Each one is a rule: allow it, add a watermark, or block it. You decide what each app allows; the browser enforces it.
Decide whether text from a work app can be pasted somewhere else, such as a personal email or a personal AI chat.
Decide which files can be saved to the computer at all, so a full patient chart or a client's return does not end up in a personal folder.
Decide where work files can be uploaded, so a document does not go to a personal file-sharing account for convenience.
Decide whether a page from a work app can be printed, saved as a page, or captured on screen.
Where data actually leaves
Neither EDR nor ITDR decides whether a document can be pasted into a personal chat or saved to a home drive. The browser does. The shortlist it is built for:
Who it is for
Reception and clinical staff spend the day in the practice-management portal, imaging tools and email. Patient data lives in those windows, and a download to a personal device is one way it leaves the practice.
Associates and partners live in case management, document management, court-filing portals, e-signature and email. Confidential material walks out through a paste into a personal chat, an unsanctioned upload, or a save to a home cloud drive.
Filing season runs in web apps: tax software, client portals, payroll and e-signature. Seasonal contractors may work on their own computers, and client financial data is in every window.
How it fits your plan
The Island Enterprise Browser comes with Ridge Plus at $50 / person / mo and with Ridge Reserve at $70 / person / mo. There is no add-on to buy and no separate price for it.
It sits on top of everything in Ridge Core: Huntress Managed EDR on every computer, and ITDR watching your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace accounts. We run the admin console; you tell us what each app should allow.

No. It is included in Ridge Plus ($50 / person / mo) and Ridge Reserve ($70 / person / mo). It is not sold as an add-on and has no separate price.
The Island Enterprise Browser is built on Chromium, the same engine as Chrome and Edge, so it looks and works much like the browser your team already uses. Work apps open in it the way they do today.
Yes. It runs on company computers and on personal ones, so a contractor or a seasonal worker on a home laptop opens your work apps inside the same rules.
No. Managed EDR still watches the computer and ITDR still watches your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace accounts. Both are in Ridge Core, and so in every plan that includes the browser.
